I guess for baseball the 60 is the specifying distance and a 6.8 is mlb avg was just wondering if a convariation exists to estimate this??

I would most likely take the last 10 to 20 yards of the 40 time and extfinish it out bereason that is when you are at your fastest in the 40. Then I'd more than likely add some arbitrary exhaustion metric to the last number since the athlete might slow dvery own a little at 60 yards. I made this all up.

Stvariety that sixty yards would certainly be the specifying distance. the bases are just 30 yards apart and also only one third of the defense plays in and area that calls for you to run frther.

why wouldn't you take the moment and distance you know and also divide them, multiply that by the other distance to gain a unstable estimate? 6.8/60 = .11333 .11333 * 40 = 4.533 or an estimated 4.53 40 time, probably bump it approximately a pair of hundreth's to 4.56 or something

quote:no Actually, you can estimate various distances. I can not execute it that well, yet you can use "running calculators" that will provide you an extremely great estimation.

Take the max speed, subtract 1 mph, and also extrapolate that time for the last 20 yards and add it to the previous time.
Some human being run that last twenty yards a lot much faster than the initially part and also vice versa. that's what i meant by "no"
