Helpful however unless the op has some sort of appropriate hand drive silverado, he"s confused. As the diagram shows and as the third video explains the drain $!^& is top top the driver side. Left side. You can want a bucket on both sides though due to the fact that as the circulation slowed top top my van it quit falling right into the bucket below and also flowed across some ledge there. The stream totally switched sides in 5 minute or so. Ns was do the efforts to figure out if the rad itself had actually a leak, which made no sense, so I provided up and also as i attempted come put drainpipe $!^& ago in I obtained the circulation down mine arm. Plugged hole through finger for perhaps a minute. Currently falling native opposite side ceased.

Also the word I couldn’t discover before regarding the hoses is the they “collapse” internally under pressure once the engine is running, restricting the flow.

dnllguajardo ,

Do the fans operate, friend didn"t say?

Yes the fans execute operate

dnllguajardo ,

Being a little pedantic here however what indications space you obtaining that the is overheating?

Is it just that the vehicle"s temperature gauge is analysis high? have you confirm the engine coolant temperature sender unit is yes or also the gauge, friend didn"t say e.g on a cold engine does the temp gauge display 0 (zero) or cold when the ignition is simply switched to the top top position?

Are there various other symptoms such as the coolant overflow reservoir overflowing or the coolant level dropping as result of a leak perhaps (any coolant stains almost everywhere on the engine or radiator and so on - go you replace the radiator cap when you changed the radiator?)

Have you confirm the radiator hoses top and also bottom to make sure that they are OK and do not feel also soft and "spongy"? occasionally if they room old they deserve to reduce in diameter on the inside as result of the pressure and also restrict the coolant flow in the system.

Like the hose is being suck in and flattened out instead of having its" typical shape. Ideal as i can describe what happens ;-)
