well it doesnt really help if he doesnt tell us if he has 2 tanks or one. I have been searching in the mean time, and i know one tank is 18 gallons from what i read.
The belive all the rear tanks in the bronco"s and f-150"s were 16 gallons, atleast the one in my short bed is a 16 gallon. I"m not sure what the side tanks were tho.
haha yea i dont think the truck has the manual anymore and right now its 1150 mi away and my father has passed and no one else around that household would even know what theyre looking for. 16 gallons might be about right then...u know what ur getting to a tank?

My truck gets about 14 miles to the gallon, and thats with the 300 six, 5 speed, 3.55 gears, and 31 inch tires on it. On my last trip to jersey, I was getting a lil more than 200 miles to a tank I belive, but that was filling up when I got down to 1/4 to 1/8 of a tank. I would think your truck would be a lil better on gas cause of the 33"s. I ran a set of 33"s for a while, and got what seemed lik another 2 or 3 so miles to the gallon.
thank if i get 200 miles to a tank id be happy...hopefully keeping it under 70 will helpanybody know fords reasoning for putting twice the size tank in the bronco while they gave us poor bastard 4x swb guys 16-18 gal tanks?

Because the bronco only has a place for one tank, so while it may seem we get the shaft with a small tank, we actually hold more fuel with both tanks together. Another thing is that a bronco fuel tank will bolt into a F series pickup in the rear tank spot, making it capable of carrying close to 50 gallons of fuel.

Thats all fine and well but what im saying why couldnt they throw the 32 gallon tank in the swb 4x4 trucks. Or atleast like 25..16 gallons is a lil rediculous for a truck that got maybe 14mpg from the factory.

I"ve got a 5.0L with the AODE-W tranny and 3.31 gears and it will get a little over 17 mpg on the highway (60mph) so that"s around 300 miles per tank if you run it dry. You should easily get 200 miles per tank if you keep it under 70.
